About
Clients. Just because they pay, doesn’t mean they don’t suck.
As a freelance web designer/developer, I have to deal with clients on a daily basis. Most of them are truly awesome and complete joys to work with. They are prepared, polite, appreciative, and trust you to do your job. Unfortunately, the rest of them tend to range from the mildly annoying “know-it-all” to the “cheap-ass-narcissistic-arrogant-overbearing-beast-from-Hades” who puts you through months of hell until they have the finished product in their hands, at which point they change all of the product-related passwords and inform you they “don’t believe you deserve payment for your services” even though they are clearly using your work.
Yeah…them.
When a client really pisses me off, I tend to let off steam by writing them a snarky email. Sometimes I send it, sometimes I don’t. Regardless, it always makes me feel better. One reason I created this blog, was so that I could share these emails (and other work-related frustrations) with the world.
I invite you to join in and do the same. Log in and post your own horrific tales. Embrace the hate.
